ABOUT US

Fairplain Presbyterian Church is a vibrant, welcoming community of Christian believers and friends. We love being church together, and we would love to be church with you! We’re a small church, but we are dedicated to God, to one another, and to loving our neighbors.

Our worship is semi-formal, and we have beautiful pre-recorded organ music alongside live music from our choir and guest musicians. Our sanctuary has been described as having a calm atmosphere that helps people find peace and direct worshipful focus on God.

If you’re used to traditional worship, you’ll feel right at home, and if you’re not, we have a screen that shows the order of service and a bulletin that will help you know where we are in the service.

Both women and men lead at Fairplain with energy, intelligence, imagination, and love. Our pastor is a man, but when he is on vacation or study leave, women often preach here as well.

We worship using music ancient and modern; we study God’s Word and how to live with Christ’s love in our modern world; we enjoy times of fun together; and we are active in mission both locally and around the world.

We are a church for people of all ages and backgrounds; we are a place where visitors are welcomed and soon become friends.

Located at 210 W. Napier, Benton Harbor, MI  49022, our building is wheelchair accessible and we offer hearing assists and captions during our 9:30 am Sunday service.  We want everyone to be able to join in worship and praise and to participate in our educational classes.

If you can’t get here in person, you’re welcome to our virtual streaming service, which is available live and an hour or so after the service, in case you’re not able to join that early.

If you would like more information, please contact us at 269-925-0041 and we’ll gladly answer all your questions.  May God bless you, now and always!

Mission Statement

We, the members of Fairplain Presbyterian Church, rejoice in God’s grace and redeeming love through Jesus Christ.  We believe we have been called as God’s children to create an open and welcoming community, to worship and praise God, and to nurture and support each other.  We are called to develop our God-given gifts and to equip ourselves to reach out to the world in love and compassion.  Thus prepared, we will share our faith, preach the gospel, feed the hungry, and be peacemakers according to God’s will.
